WHAT IS ANUSARA YOGA...

Anusara yoga is the fastest growing Hatha Yoga system in the world. Anusara means, "flowing with Grace" and "following your heart."

This system was established in 1997 by world-renowned yoga instructor, John Friend. It combines the celebration of the heart. Universal principles of alignment and a balanced energetic action in the posture to achieve optimal alignment.

WHAT IS PILATES...

Imagine an exercise program that you look forward to, leaves you refreshed and alert with a feeling of physical and mental well-being. The Pilates Method (pronounced puh-Lah-teez) of body conditioning will do all this and more!!!

Developed in the 1920's by the legendary physical trainer and founder of the Pilates Studio, Joseph H. Pilates. The Method is an exercise system designed to improve flexibility and strength for the total body without building bulk. It is a series of controlled movements focusing on the abdominals (sometimes called the powerhouse) and back engaging the mind, body and breath. It is sometimes known as "dance exercise" and will develop poise and grace. Some of the first people to embrace this method were dancers such as Martha Graham and George Balanchine.
